- in association with the 2008 ENHR Conference, Dublin, 4th to 6th July 2008
To coincide with the ENHR Annual Conference, which will take place in Dublin on 6-9 July 2008, a New Researchers’ Colloquium will take place all day on Saturday 5th July. (Please note the New Researchers’ Colloquium was to take place in Jordanstown, but has been moved to Dublin).
Those interested in attending the Colloquium should note the following:
- If you submitted an abstract for the Jordanstown event it will automatically be considered for the Dublin event, unless you let us know that you wish to withdraw it.
- If you have not yet submitted an abstract, but would like to attend the Colloquium, the closing date for submission of abstracts has been extended to Friday 30th May 2008.
- The registration fee for the New Researchers’ Colloquium is €100 to include lunch and evening meal. You will also be able to go on the walking tour of Dublin, one of the study trips from the main conference and the official opening (all to take place on Sunday 6th July). The Conference fee does not include accommodation. Accommodation is available in UCD for €50 per night. Other accommodation options are available in Dublin city Centre – see the conference website for details and you might find www.hosteldublin.com useful.
- The New Researchers’ Colloquium will take place in the Institute of Public Administration, 57 – 61 Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4. This venue is about 20 to 30 minutes walk from the city centre and accessible by bus (number 4, 45, 5, 7, 7a) and DART (Lansdowne Road Station). See www.ipa.ie for a list of accommodation near Lansdowne Road.
- It is not permitted to present the same paper at the New Researchers’ Colloquium and the ENHR Conference.
- If you are attending both the New Researchers’ Colloquium and the ENHR Conference events you will need to register for each event separately.
